Stereotypes in the Bronx

My name is Nellya Blinova and I am senior student at Lehman majoring in journalism.

I originally come from Russia. When I moved to New York in 2010, I learned that many New Yorkers had different stereotypes about Russians. It almost seemed that they knew me better than I knew myself. This idea of stereotypes pushed me create this video, in which I interviewed Lehman Students about stereotypes that exist within their cultures.

I have also started a blog where you can find more interesting videos and discussions about stereotypes. I like writing about stereotypes because I believe that a lot of people can relate to this topic and can learn more about other cultures.
