Evening Gowns by Costello

Michael Costello is known for his elegant evening wear that accentuates a woman’s curves. In his 2015 New York Fashion show, Costello presented a collection of gowns. “My designs present an elegant way to show the feminine silhouette,” he said.

Colors are some of the most important elements of his designs. “The black and white is always in season, but for this spring there is a more dirty red, metallic, and an interesting green,” he said.

This season’s collection is more romantic than previous years, said Costello, starting with the shoes which he designed in velvet, “for those women who are not afraid to be different.”

Costello plays with combinations of fabrics, materials, and colors to create a mixture of asymmetric cuts and transparency.

The designer is known to some for his past role in “Project Runway,” where he finished fifth place. Now his
designs have appeared on the covers of national and international magazines and he has worked with Beyonce, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian.
